Sunset Happy Hour at the Top of the Gondola

It's back for the summer. The most magically happy hour returns at the top of the Steamboat ski area. The gondola takes you up to Thunderhead at 9,100 feet to enjoy an incredible Steamboat sunset up in the clouds as you gaze out upon the breathtaking Yampa Valley. This is a Steamboat activity not to be missed and will have you wanting to come back time and time again as you take in the views, enjoy live music and a selection of food from Thunderhead cafe. Toast the night away with a full bar as you enjoy this evening like no other.

The details:
The cost is $15, which includes your gondola ride as well as a $5 credit towards food and drinks. Gondola boarding begins at 5:00pm and ends at 7:45pm. Sunset Happy Hour is a first come, first served event, and reservations are not accepted. Availability can be limited, so plan accordingly. If you are a 2017/18 Steamboat season, Steamboat 15 day, or Steamboat 8 day passholder, or have a 2018/19 Ikon Base or Ikon Pass, your admittance is free, plus you may bring one guest to each happy hour. Passholders must present a valid pass to receive free admittance and guest privileges.
