With large bedrooms that include a King suite, a Queen suite, a third bedroom with 2 Twin beds, and a loft bedroom with 2 Twin beds, this condo offers a lot of bedding flexibility. It is ideal for 2 couples plus up to 4 singles or kids. At this penthouse condo, you will enjoy comfortable, quality, furnishings and amazing views as well as some additional amenities. The Property:
The best thing about this condo has to be the views. Perched on a ridge, the building has a commanding position and panoramic views. This condo faces south, which gives it good natural light as well those incredibly good views of the Steamboat Ski Resort. The views stretch from the upper mountain to the base area ski slopes, across the Yampa Valley all the way to the Flat Tops Wilderness. At this condo, when you look out the windows or relax on the balcony, you can take in the beauty of this amazing place! If you're in town during one of the torchlight parades or fireworks displays, you'll have a prime viewing position, but any time of year, the views alone make this a great place to call home.

The condo is laid out over two levels. Upstairs is the first bedroom suite, which has quite an ample size. It easily accommodates a King bed, matching bedside tables, dresser and an armchair with ottoman. On the dresser is a very large HDTV which makes the armchair or bed a great place to enjoy some entertainment. This large bedroom is a true suite, with a private bathroom that is also a generous size. The upper level of the condo is also home to the loft, which includes a Twin over Twin bunk bed and TV. The loft has doors to make it visually private and has a half wall that allow you to look down upon the living room. Guests who sleep in the loft can either share the bathroom within Bedroom 1, or if those staying in Bedroom 1 are sleeping, you just go down to the main level, where one of the bathrooms is off the hallway rather than inside a bedroom.

The main level of the condo includes bedrooms 2 and 3 as well as 2 full bathrooms, plus the living, dining, and kitchen areas. Bedroom 2 is also pretty large, and feels even bigger than it is thanks to the 15+ foot vaulted ceilings. This bedroom has a Queen bed and private bathroom. The third bedroom offers yet another large bedroom space. It has a Twin over Twin bunk bed, an armchair, plus a futon. Just like bedroom 2, this room has 15+ foot high vaulted ceilings, which makes sleeping on the top bunk feel quite spacious. A full bathroom right across the hall offers access for those staying in bedroom 3 as well as those in the loft, if you prefer to keep the upper bathroom private within Bedroom 1.

The condo features a full kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals or apres ski snacks. It features stainless steel appliances, tile backsplash, great lighting, nice cabinets, and a barnwood island with log barstools. The log barstools match the adjacent log dining table, and the beautiful floors throughout the main floor give it a nice flow with a consistent look and feel. The living room has a very comfy couch and additional seating positioned to allow you to enjoy the gas fireplace, HDTV, and those amazing views.

Location:
The Ridgecrest condos are located right above Ski Time Square and Gondola Square. Some guests might consider walking down to the base area in the summer. The elevation which gives this condo such spectacular views over and across the base area also means that you're walking downhill to the base area, but more importantly, uphill coming home. So, you might walk down and then hire an Uber, Lyft, or the local Go Alpine taxi for the way home. For guests without a car, these options represent an affordable "pay for what you use" option, which can be so much better than paying for high price lodging with a "free" private shuttle service. The walk to and from the base area includes sections without a sidewalk, and a short section which is pretty steep, so we do not recommend making this walk in the winter, if you have kids, if you're not in very good physical condition, when it is icy, or if you have a car. The Steamboat Ski Resort has free parking at the Meadow and Knoll lots, both of which are very convenient to this property and the Gondola.

Arrival, Access, and Parking:

Accessing this property does require stairs. The ground level is parking, and you go up 3 floors to enter the condo. While it takes some effort to get in, you'll have no one walking around in a unit above, and the views couldn't be better. Parking is limited at this development, like any other.
