No Reservation? Try Dining at these Great Restaurants

Steamboat Springs has over 70 delicious restaurants within city limits. During peak times it helps to make a reservation, but fear not, there are always options to dine without one.
Downtown
Looking for a sports bar or lively crowd to watch the big game with? Try Dude and Dan's, and don't let the name fool you. Dudettes also frequent this fun restaurant. New to Steamboat in 2016, Dude and Dan's is located on 11th and Lincoln Avenue. There are several TVs located in both the bar and the restaurant. The food is delicious and the beers are always as cold as the snow. Bring the kids and teens to enjoy the game room upstairs. Bring the whole family!
Also downtown is Low Country Kitchen, located at 435 Lincoln Avenue. The owners are a husband-and-wife team who grew up in the South. They created a food and beverage menu that combines time-honored Southern cuisine using only the highest quality ingredients. The result is genuine hospitality, serious drinks, and the best fried chicken you have ever sunk your teeth into. With the dining room expansion, there are now more tables to host visitors and locals alike. Happy hour starts at 4:30. You may see my girlfriends and me at the cocktail tables, sipping a glass of wine and enjoying a fried chicken biscuit.

Mid-town
Want to know where the locals go? It's a great Hispanic restaurant called Fiesta Jalisco, located off Anglers Drive in Sundance Plaza behind Starbucks. Fiesta Jalisco serves up the most delicious Mexican food and has a full bar to suit your beverage fancy. The friendly and authentic staff will wow you with their flavors and fun ambiance. There's plenty of room for that last-minute dinner idea.
Newer to Steamboat is a restaurant called Brick. The owners successfully created The Paramount, located at the base of the ski area for breakfast, lunch, and après, and then ventured into a fun dinner restaurant serving homemade brick oven pizzas, pastas, salads, and sandwiches. Brick is located above the Wildhorse Plaza area, just north of the Meadows parking lot and next to the tennis bubble.

Mountain
Venture off the slopes to Slopeside Grill for lunch, après, dinner, and late night. The restaurant is large, and on sunny days will have plenty of outdoor seating with heat lamps to keep you toasty. If there is a wait, you can usually grab a quick drink at the bar or next door at Los Locos. Fantastic food with a mountain ambiance.
Gondola Pub and Grill is located in Gondola Square and is open for breakfast, lunch, and après. With 3 levels of food service, you are sure to find a seat in a short amount of time. The staff are all very friendly, and the menu is large to cater to all food types. Known for their bloody marys and quick breakfast sandwiches, you may want to give this a try before hitting the slopes.
